Azimuth’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) team was heavily involved in a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) level Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) team to define the policies and governance models to follow for all USDA agencies in their approach to SOA. It is the hope of NRCS, subdivision of USDA, to lead the way by example, building on all of the past research and preparation work. As the SOA governance vision for Lifecycle Management, Registry, Repository, and Runtime Enforcement has been hardened, Azimuth has assembled a task-focused team to develop the transition plan to get to the target vision for NRCS for all projects to benefit from.
Azimuth excels in helping organizations such as the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to develop a long-term strategic vision for the application of information technologies to content and records management.
The NRCS engaged Azimuth analysts and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assist with gathering requirements and determining a long-term strategy to improve and enhance NRCS’s management of organizational records.
With years of experience in information technologies, specializing in records management and enterprise content management, Azimuth developed a structured methodology, which provides an analysis roadmap to ensure that the NRCS has a complete understanding of their content management needs, and that the requirements are fully documented. This is combined with a Records Management Program Evaluation Dashboard to allow the NRCS to make the best long-term decisions related to the management of digital archives and enterprise records management.
